Your total cost to book and secure your spot is $449. During your time with us on September 17 or 18, your $449 includes: model training and development by seasoned international and local models and coaches, all natural digital photographs (every model needs these to be current in their portfolio!), three (3) different looks with a top professional makeup artist, three (3) different looks with a top professional stylist, and a professional in-studio photography session with a top photographer who has been published hundreds of times, and in top magazines, such as L'Officiel Australia, Glamour Bulgaria, and in Vogue. 
 
At the Canadian Top Model Road Show, you simply get incredible value for your $449, and if you choose to purchase images from your photography session with our top photographer, you will have the option to order retouched photographs for your modelling portfolio at $40/photo. You also get the incredible opportunity to meet our Canadian Top Model recruiting team in-person, and we will provide you with honest feedback, and the chance to be recruited and signed as a professional model! 
 
Also note that $449 is a highly discounted price for the services that you will receive at the Canadian Top Model Road Show (including coaching, training, development, styling, makeup/hair, photography, and visibility in front of top model scouts). Outside of the Road Show, new and aspiring models can expect to pay upwards of $500-$1000 for professional photography services that are necessary to build a modelling portfolio, and this price typically does not include any coaching, training, development, styling, makeup/hair, or the opportunity to be scouted. The best way is to come out and see for yourself! Whereas other nationwide "top model" tours might tell you that you're definitely going to be a supermodel, we will never overpromise, nor will we charge you an arm and a leg for our expert services. When you work with us, you work with a team that has decades of combined industry experience - including top photographers, stylists, makeup artists, agents, bookers, scouts, recruiters, coaches, and more. Our experienced team will provide you with honest and constructive feedback, and we will never over promise, but we do endeavour to over deliver with every prospective model that chooses to work with us to build their modelling portfolio and to launch their career!

Are there any guarantees that I will become a model or a supermodel?

Accepted Answer

There are no guarantees that your model training and portfolio session with the Canadian Top Model Road Show will secure your spot as a professional model or supermodel. We do guarantee that we will provide you with incredible value and an opportunity to either start a brand new modelling portfolio, or to enhance your existing portfolio, if you are already a model. Having said that, we will be actively scouting for new models (and individuals with supermodel potential) at the Canadian Top Model Road Show.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can absolutely attend the Canadian Top Model Road Show with a friend or family member. However, we will be limiting the number of people inside the studio to ensure that we comply with and exceed all applicable laws and regulations related to indoor capacity. Except for models, it is mandatory for all team members and guests to wear an approved face covering anytime they are indoors at our event.
 
We will also have stringent protocols in place for Covid-19, which you and your friend/family member must comply with, for the health and safety of everyone in attendance and in the wider Sudbury community. Indoor admission will be limited to only those who absolutely must be inside for the purposes of your in-studio photoshoot.

What precautions are you taking to ensure that the Canadian Top Model Road Show is conducted safely during the pandemic?

Accepted Answer

Enhanced cleaning and health & safety protocols will be in place for this event. Everyone in attendance must complete a pre-screening questionnaire/health check, and Canadian Top Model will be using Covid-19 rapid tests on-site to ensure the safety of participants, staff, and the Sudbury community. All Canadian Top Model team members will be either fully vaccinated, or they must present a negative Covid-19 test on the day of the event, or both. Appropriate PPE/masking is required for all personnel inside the studio space/indoors, except for models who are preparing for or participating in their photoshoot.

What will I get out of the Canadian Top Model Road Show if I decide to register?

You will get the experience of a lifetime!! If you are a new or aspiring model, this is your chance to begin building a very strong professional modelling portfolio with a top team of trainers/coaches, makeup/hair artists, stylists, photographers, and scouts/recruiters.

Question 7

How old do I need to be to register for the Canadian Top Model Road Show?

Accepted Answer

At present, we are primarily recruiting new and aspiring models who are at least sixteen (16) years of age. Every participant that is under the age of eighteen (18) must have their parent(s)/guardian(s) complete the Canadian Top Model Road Show registration process on their behalf. Parent(s)/guardian(s) must also be present on the day of the event, and they must accompany any model who is under the age of eighteen (18) at all times. 
 
If you are under the age of sixteen (16), please have your parent(s)/guardian(s) email us and arrange for a video chat with our recruiting team. If our team believes that a model under the age of sixteen (16) has significant potential, then we may grant the model and their parent(s)/guardian(s) an exemption to our minimum age requirement that is noted above.

After your event in Sudbury on September 17-18, will you ever come back to town, or is this simply a one-time event?"

Accepted Answer

While this is our very first time travelling to Sudbury with the Canadian Top Model Road Show, our goal is to begin a relationship with the community that we hope will last for years to come. At present, our plan is to return to Sudbury at least once per year with the Canadian Top Model Road Show, and more frequently for scouting and recruiting purposes. We endeavour to continue working with and recruiting Sudbury's best new and aspiring talent for many years into the future. Come out and experience the Canadian Top Model difference for yourself!

I've been considering modelling, but I've never tried it out. Is the Canadian Top Model Road Show suitable for new and aspiring models like me, with little or no experience?"

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Canadian Top Model Road Show is absolutely designed with new and aspiring models in mind. No experience is necessary, and we will help to coach and train you on the day of your photoshoot so that you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Our goal is to treat you like a supermodel, and to help make you look your very best. If you leave the event with a strong professional modelling portfolio, then we have done our job successfully! You will love the results, even if you have never modelled before.

What if I don't fit the "traditional" requirements to be a model? Do I still have a chance, or am I wasting my time?"

Modelling and talent industry requirements are constantly evolving over time. As industry requirements and standards continue to evolve, we encourage EVERYONE to register, even if you do not appear to meet the "traditional" standards or requirements of a model. Regardless of whether or not you meet modelling industry requirements, this model training, development, and portfolio-building session will not be a waste of time, as long as you put your best foot forward and allow your natural talent to shine. Why not give modelling a try, even if you're not "flawless?" Perfection is by no means a prerequisite for any participant, and we welcome all new and aspiring models to register for the Canadian Top Model Road Show.

This is actually the first time we are hosting the Canadian Top Model Road Show, and we could not be more thrilled to be launching our nationwide tour in beautiful Sudbury, Ontario! Our team has heard great things about the community, and we honestly believe that there is significant "yet-to-be-discovered" talent in Sudbury! How do I become a model anyway, and will the Canadian Top Model Road Show make me a model in only one day?"

Becoming a model frequently takes months, or even years, of training, development, and experience in front of the camera. While everyone takes a different path to becoming a model, there are certain aspects of starting out in this career that are virtually universal. For example, all models, including new and aspiring models, require a portfolio that consists of select images from photoshoots that the model has participated in. Each model's portfolio will typically consist of professionally taken and retouched photos, alongside all natural, unedited digital/polaroid photographs that enable prospective clients to see you without any professional hair, makeup, or styling whatsoever. At the Canadian Top Model Road Show, we will not turn you into a model or supermodel overnight, but we absolutely will provide you with the opportunity to establish an incredible, sleek, and stylish portfolio that will set you apart from other new and aspiring models. Combined with our on-site training, development, and coaching, in both the lead up to and during/after your photoshoot, we are confident that the Canadian Top Model Road Show will provide you with the best possible opportunity to begin a career in modelling.
